KL Jamm Collaboration with Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival Announced at MITEC3 min read
The renowned K-Pop sensation, NCT Dream will be performing for the first time in Malaysia at KL Jamm 2019, which will be held from 26 April to 28 April 2019 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The announcement was made by Music Unlimited International Sdn Bhd (MUI) at the press conference along with the full line-up of artistes that will be performing live on stage at KL Jamm 2019.
NCT Dream is the third sub-unit of South Korean boy group NCT, which is the latest global K-Pop sensation amongst K-Pop fans. Also added to the line-up is top Korean DJ and celebrity DJ Sura who will enthral the crowd with her signature K-Pop inflected and dance music sounds. Besides that, MUI also revealed the additional line-up of artistes that includes Bunkface, Ruffedge, Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, Alif, Ila Damiaa, Yung Raja, Faris Jabba and Abubakarxli.
MUI also announced their collaboration with the prestigious Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival (HKAMF), with which Malaysia will see Canto-Pop star, J.Arie, Music Ambassador from Hong Kong, winner of the HKAMF Supernova Award 2014 to grace KL Jamm 2019 with a live performance.

We look forward to further strengthen this collaboration with the involvement of more regional artistes especially for the APEX (Asia Pacific Music Exchange) stage, which will be a platform to promote the upcoming artistes in the Asia Pacific region,” said Dato’ Norman Abdul Halim, Festival Director of KL Jamm.
Ricky Fung, a representative of HKAMF said, “There has been a long collaboration between the Malaysian music industry and HKAMF. We are excited to see KL Jamm’s emergence to driving the same course in advancing ASIAN recorded music and live entertainment. There are enough music talents around. We are proud to have KL Jamm inviting J.Arie to bring Malaysian popular music a cross fow with Hong Kong’s. Collectively, we may be looking at the next ASIAN Music wave. It may, come sooner if more of us are joining together.”

KL Jamm Music Festival is not solely concerts, but also a platform for global music and digital related trade. MUI also announced the launch of MusicXpo (Market & Exhibition), ForuMuzik (Symposium), as well as exciting stage performances on the APEX stage, which is co-organized by Global Creative & Media Agency (GCMA), an established global agency specializing in public relations and marketing of major media entertainment festivals such as Midem Music Festival and the recently concluded Asian Television Awards.
