Kota Bharu welcomes Scoot’s first direct flight from Singapore

Kota Bharu, Kelantan –Scoot today commenced its first direct flight to Kota Bharu from Singapore, making it the seventh destination in Malaysia after Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, Kuching, Langkawi and Penang.

Customers on the maiden flight were welcomed with a special water cannon salute ceremony, as the A320 aircraft landed at the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (KBR) at about 4.05 PM on Tuesday.

Scoot, the low-cost arm of the Singapore Airlines Group, is the exclusive international flight operator flying direct to Kota Bharu, offering customers value-added airfares, and also considerable time-savings. Customers from Kota Bharu can now save over two hours of travel time by flying directly to Singapore without having to layover in Kuala Lumpur.
