Resorts World Cruises Awarded ‘Muslim-friendly Cruise Line of the Year’

Singapore, 2 June 2023 – Resorts World Cruises, Asia’s latest lifestyle and dynamic cruise line is
pleased to announce that it has been awarded the ‘Muslim-friendly Cruise Line of the Year’ at the
Halal in Travel Awards 2023 held in Singapore. With the Genting Dream operating as the World’s
First OIC/SMIIC* Standard Halal-Friendly Cruise Ship since June 2022, the Genting Dream has been
the only cruise ship in the region that provides a holistic Halal-friendly cruise experience for its Muslim
guests embarking from the dual homeports in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (via Port Klang). This is
part of the cruise line’s ongoing initiative to continue and provide a wide range of offerings that caters
to the diverse Asian population.

With the dual homeports, guests may choose to embark on the Genting Dream from Singapore and
enjoy a series of itineraries, which include the 2 Night Kuala Lumpur and 2 Night High Seas Weekend
Getaway Cruise, as well as the 3 Night Phuket Cruise or the 3 Night Kuala Lumpur and Penang
Cruise. Alternatively, guests can embark from Port Klang (Malaysia) with new itineraries starting from
13 July 2023 onwards that include the 4 Night Singapore Discovery Cruise, as well as the 3 Night
Phuket – Singapore Cruise and 3 Night Penang – Singapore Cruise.

the dedicated certified Halal section at The Lido restaurant, which is one of ship’s most popular dining
venue serving authentic Asian and International cuisine, offering a wide spread of buffet using fresh
