Malaysia Tourism Council Gold Awards recognise the high achievers in tourism industry in conjunction of Visit Malaysia 2020

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 July 2019 – Malaysia Tourism Council (MTC) will organise an award ceremony where it will be held on 25th October 2019 at Palace Of Golden Horses, Kuala Lumpur.
More than 80 awards will be presented to the industry players by the council for their excellence and support in the development of the tourism industry in Malaysia.
This prestigious award is a tribute and highest accolade for individuals and organisations whose outstanding contributions play a significant role in the success of Malaysia’s tourism industry.
This year’s the gala dinner and award presentation ceremony will be officiated by YAB Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“ Our Prime Minister , YAB Tun Dr Mahathir is the Father and Icon for Malaysia’s Tourism Industry . We are so blessed that he agreed to come and grace our occasion “ said Uzaidi Udanis , President of MTC when met at the press conference.
Uzaidi also said that MTC Gold Awards is the tourism industry’s peak award which recognise all the Malaysia’s Super Heroes in Tourism Industry.
It is also to encourage tourism and hospitality industry in Malaysia to promote tourism business and brands that create a positive image of the country worldwide.
Similar to “Oscar” for Malaysian tourism and hospitality industry , it gave the reason to celebrate Malaysian heritage, culture, traditions and achievements in preparing our important national campaign Visit Malaysia 2020.
The event is an opportunity to bring together national and local authorities, hotels, restaurants, tour operators, travel agencies and more.
