Bona Cinemas in Resorts World Genting that allows you to experience the cinematic experiences 6,000 feet above sea level has gotten two new experiences on 1 December 2018. IMAX and Gold Class with D-BOX halls brings audiences to feel the thrilling realm of motion pictures in the heart of SkyAvenue Mall.

Unveiled earlier this year as a collaboration between Resorts World Genting and China’s Bona Film Group, Bona Cinemas is the Chinese film giant’s first foray into the Malaysian market. Being the first private firm to receive a film distribution license from the Chinese state in 1999, Bona Cinemas is an integrated film and television production which now become one of China’s largest film production houses, funded and created 230 films hits like Dragon Tiger Gate, The Grandmaster, Big Brother, Operation Red Sea, Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, The Taking of Tiger Mountain, Project Gutenberg. In February 2018, Bona Film Group opened its first overseas cineplex in Resorts World Genting to add into its addition of 61 theatres directly operates in China under the brand.

Bona Cinemas has combined the pleasure of Gold Class VIP seats with the dynamic feedback of D-BOX technology. A first in Malaysian market, cinema’s Gold Class with D-BOX hall seats up to 48 viewers that equipped the seats with D-BOX patented motion system with four levels of intensity control, that swivels and tilts on a two-axis configuration to truly bring the viewer in sync with the action. The hall will make guests truly feel like they are part of the movie with the latest Dolby Atmos audio system that wraps the audience with 3D sounds.
Located on Level 1 of SkyAvenue Mall in Resorts World Genting, Bona Cinemas has a total of six halls covering 38,848 square feet and equipped with the latest Dolby Atmos sound system for maximum cinematic experience.
