1 min read

KUALA LUMPUR, 15th January 2021: Yesterday, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) has confirmed that one of our guests is positive with COVID-19. The patient is currently being treated and receiving appropriate care. Authority is now identifying the contacts that the said guest may have had.

Our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers by providing them a clean and safe environment at our premises. As our precautionary measure, WTCKL will be temporarily closed from 14th January 2021 until 15th January 2021 for disinfection and sanitization purpose.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia on December 2019, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur venue-wide initiatives include:

• Conduct regular and thorough building-wide disinfection and sanitization

• UV sterilizers are used to sterilize the building and common touch points

This is the first incident recorded at our venue. As such, we are working closely with the Ministry of Health to further mitigate the situation. We would like to assure the public that we are doing our best in managing COVID-19 at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.

We also would like to take this opportunity to wish the patient for a speedy recovery. Thank you for your kind understanding and support.
