Easts Meets West in Ramadhan Buffet Aroma D’AnCasa

Ramadhan is around the corner and AnCasa Hotels & Resorts is busy whipping up an enthralling feast of the dishes for this holy month. For those who wanted to ‘buka puasa’ in the city, AnCasa Hotels & Resorts offers kampung-style dishes at Saffron Brasserie located in the hotel. They named their Ramadhan Buffet set as Aroma D’AnCasa to cater customers needs for exquisite dining for ‘buka puasa’.

The chefs who have years of experience cooking traditional Malay food has combined their ideas to feature different traditional recipes that are unique in their own way. Visitors will definitely be tempted to savour more than 200 kampung treats this Ramadhan. A collection of stalls will be set up at the restaurant with innovative names hanging overhead such as Warong Kak Ana, Warong Pak Helmi, Warong Juan, Warong Kak Ayu and many more.

For starters, there are myriad of salads at Warong Kak Ana stall featuring Ulam-Ulaman Kampung, Kerabu Taugeh Kerang and Jelatah Timun. Favourites such as Begedil Ayam, Sambal Hijau, Sambal Hitam ans Sambal Tempoyak not to be missed.

Heartier dishes can be found at the main course area with a wide selection of traditional dishes like Ayam Golek Berempah, Gulai Kawah Kambing, Sotong Sumbat Tiga Rasa and Sambal Goreng Jawa. The highlight of the spread are Roasted Lamb, marinated in a secret blend of spices and roasted to perfection, Pais Ikan Patin from Pekan, Pahang and Masak Lemak Cili Api Seafood from Negeri Sembilan specially prepared by chefs from respective AnCasa Hotels properties.

With daily specials prepared on the spot at various action stalls, the menu also promises Gear Box Curry Mee, Rendang Itik Minang, Sup Ayam Kampung served with Roti Benggali, PD Grilled Chicken, Opor Daging Pahang and a host of traditional cuisines.

To cleanse the palate, anticipate the satisfaction of enjoying kampong-style Serawa Durian, Kuih Ketayap, Lempeng Kelapa, Kole Kacang and array of other local and western desserts, with dates, fresh fruits, Teh Tarik and a whole lot more. Another specialty to look for is the “Tandoori Chai”. A special blend of tea brewed with a blend of secret aromatic spices. It has a distinct unforgettable taste and soft earthy fragrance.
